Data privacy notice
Effective: November 2019
Controller
Gschwandtner & Zwilling GmbH is responsible for processing your personal data on our website . You will find our data in the Publication details
We take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations as well as this Data Privacy Statement. Your data will not be disclosed to other recipients without your explicit consent.
Collection, processing and use of personal data
Access data / server log files
We automatically collect and store information that your browser sends to us. These are:
- browser type / version,
- the operating system used,
- referrer URL (the site previously visited),
- the host name of the accessing computer (IP address),
- time of server request
- data volume transmitted and
- report whether retrieval was successful.
The IP addresses of users are deleted or anonymised after use. With anonymisation, IP addresses are changed in such a way that the details of personal or factual circumstances can no longer be matched up to a specific or identifiable natural person at all or only with a disproportionate amount of time, cost and work. The data in the so-called log files is evaluated by us in anonymised form in order to continue improving the website and make it more user-friendly as well as to find and correct errors more quickly. It is also used to control server capacities with a view to providing relevant data volumes whenever required.
Cookies
Our website uses cookies. These are small text files that are saved on your terminal device with the aid of the browser. They do no harm.
We use cookies to make our offering user-friendly. Some cookies remain stored on your terminal device until you delete them. They enable us to recognise your browser the next time you visit. If you do not want this to happen, you can set up your browser so that it informs you about the setting of cookies and then you only allow such from case to case.
Disabling cookies can restrict the functionality of our website.
This is where you will find further information on the cookies used on this website.
Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service from Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; "Google"). Google Analytics uses cookies, i.e. text files that are saved on your computer and make it possible to analyse the way in which the website is used. The information the cookie generates about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA, where it is stored. If IP anonymisation is enabled on this website, Google will, however, first truncate your IP address within the member states of the European Union or in other signatory states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in cases of exception will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. Google will use this information on behalf of the operator of this website to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activities and to provide the website operator with further services associated with using the website and the Internet. The IP address communicated from your browser within Google Analytics will not be pooled with other data from Google. You can set your browser software to prevent the installation of cookies. We do, however, point out that you may then not be able to use all of the functions available on this website.
Furthermore, you can prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) by Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in provided in the following link ((http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de)). You can prevent the collection of your data by Google Analytics by clicking the following link. An opt-out cookie is set that prevents the future collection of your data when visiting this website.
You will find further information on user conditions and data privacy at http://www.google.com/analytics/terms/de.html or at https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/. Please note that the code "anonymizeIp" has been added to Google Analytics on this website to ensure that IP addresses (IP-Masking) are recorded anonymously.
Google Tag Manager
To manage our website and integrate cookie-based technologies, we use the Tag Manager service provided by Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; "Google"). For this purpose, every time you open one of our websites, your IP address is transmitted to a Google server which may also be located in the USA. The IP address is not stored by Google as part of the Tag Manager service and is only used to integrate the technologies managed by the Tag Manager. The Tag Manager itself does not set any cookies.
Java scripts
Google Webfonts
Our website uses so-called web fonts to display script. There are provided by Google (http://www.google.com/webfonts/). To do this, your browser loads the required web font into your browser cache when you open our site. This is necessary so that your browser too can display a visually enhanced representation of our texts. If your browser does not support this function, a standard font is used by your computer for displaying script.
You will find further information on Google Webfonts at https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq?hl=de-DE&csw=1.
You will find general information on the subject of data privacy at Google by going to http://www.google.com/intl/de-DE/policies/privacy/.
